reuversbreathing.com, the Reuvers Breathing apps and the Reuvers Breathing Exercise Program are operated by The Advanced Buteyko Institute, trading as Reuvers Breathing.

Waiver of Liability

Users of the Reuvers Breathing app or website or audio or video content and participants to the Reuvers Breathing course, events, programs or trainings (in whatever form) should always consult their doctor before engaging in the Reuvers Breathing exercises: the activities may be too strenuous for some people, including but not limited to those suffering from diabetes, cardiovascular problems, heart problems, kidney problems, autoimmune disorders, nervous system disorders, breathing disorders, etc, etc, including but not limited to migraine, asthma, epilepsy, ocular hypertension, etc, etc.

All practical exercises and tests performed throughout any type of teaching, learning or exercise program (webinar, group course, individual course, local event, guided exercise, video, audio, app, etc) are entirely OPTIONAL.

By registering for or attending an Reuvers Breathing teaching or learning program, using the Reuvers Breathing app or any type of Reuvers Breathing audio or video content, or signing up for an online user account at www.reuversbreathing.com, you agree to assume full responsibility for any injury, death, losses or damages you may sustain as a result of participating in any type of teaching, learning or exercise program (webinar, group course, individual course, local event, guided exercise, video, audio, app, etc). You further release The Advanced Buteyko Institute, drs. Eduard J.A. Reuvers, instructors of the Reuvers Breathing Exercise Program and any event hosts and/or sponsors from any and all liability, claim, demand or action you may have whether caused by yourself or by The Advanced Buteyko Institute, drs. Eduard J.A. Reuvers, an instructor of the Reuvers Breathing Exercise Program, an event host and/or sponsor.

Additionally, by attending a local event you grant permission to The Advanced Buteyko Institute, Drs. Eduard J.A. Reuvers, instructors of the Reuvers Breathing Exercise Program, course sponsors, event hosts and/or its affiliates, the lawful use of your voice, image and likeness, in whole or in part, with or without your name, for any purpose including transmission, reproduction, photograph, video and/or audio recording for advertisement, promotion, or other.

Cancellation Policy

Purchase of individual or online education is non-refundable. Appointments for individual teaching sessions with an instructor (via Skype, Whatsapp, FaceTime, Zoom or otherwise) can only be rescheduled if the instructor is personally notified by the student at least 12 hours in advance (before the scheduled time). Local event fees are non-refundable within 14 days of the event, but the local event fees may be applied to a future local event within the following year. If cancelled before 14 days, the local event fee is 100% refundable. In the unlikely event the seminar sponsor, instructor and/or host must cancel an event in its entirety, registrants may choose to receive a refund of paid local event fees or credit toward a future local event within the following year. While reasonable efforts will be made to adhere to the advertised package, the seminar sponsor, instructor and/or host reserves the right to substitute alternate speakers and/or event content from those listed.

Coaching Others

The Reuvers Breathing Method is a gradual breath training system which for best results may need to be customized to the situation of the individual person. Doing the Reuvers Breathing Exercise Program does not qualify participants to teach or guide others: It can have a negative impact if not overseen by a qualified instructor. To learn how to teach the Reuvers Breathing Exercise Program, specialized instructor training courses are required to be completed.

Instructor training in the Reuvers Breathing Exercise Program includes ongoing supplemental instructor training and competency tests after successfully completing the initial instructor training program.
