Health Data

If you choose to turn it on, the Reuvers Breathing app reads health data from Apple Health on iOS and Health Connect on Android. This is off until you enable it, and the app only ever reads. It never writes anything back to Apple Health or Health Connect.

What we read: heart rate and heart rate variability, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, sleep duration and sleep stages, VO₂ max, body weight, active energy, and step count.

We do not store the raw readings. The app calculates daily summaries, for example your average morning heart rate variability or last night's sleep duration, and stores those on your device and in your account on our server. They are shown back to you in the app and on this website. We never use this data for advertising, and we never sell or trade it.

Sharing with your instructor. Your health summaries are private to you by default. If you want your instructor to see them, you can turn that on in your account settings on this website. Turning it on makes them visible to your instructor and to the instructors who supervise them. You can turn it off again at any time, and access stops immediately.

To stop collection entirely, turn off health access in the app's settings, or revoke the app's permission in Apple Health or Health Connect. Contact us if you want your stored health summaries deleted.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
